Frequently Asked QuestionsGetting the lowest priceDoes The Car Buyers Helpline always get the best price for a vehicle? YES, because we have been buying cars daily for over 20 years. (Over 600 cars last year alone!) Our experience almost always translates into the best price for you. We negotiate at the lowest profit margin your market will bear. How do I know you are getting the best price? We give you the invoice figure for the vehicle you are purchasing or leasing, and we tell you about dealer incentives as well. That way, you know exactly how much profit you are paying the dealer. How do you compare with the so called "FREE" Internet services? Most of these services are lead services whose goal is to get you into the dealership. They are paid by the dealers for the leads. Many of our clients have used these services and in every case, we have gotten a better price. When you call us, we will answer your questions, negotiate the price of the vehicle, and negotiate your trade in. We won't turn you over to the dealers! Can you help me if I got all my invoice pricing off the web? Yes, Internet pricing is not always complete. We will be happy to verify your numbers, and show you how to use them to your advantage! Do dealers like working with you? Most dealers are eager to work with us. They know that when we call we have a client ready to buy, which means that if the price is right, they'll make a sale and turn inventory. We have worked with some of our dealers for over 15 years! Do you work with trade-ins? Yes! First, we ask you a series of questions about your trade-in. Then we tell you what to expect from the dealer, and we include the trade-in as part of our negotiations with the dealer. This ensures that you will receive the most for your trade-in! Do you negotiate for used cars? Yes! Especially late model cars. We utilize our new car resources to get you the lowest possible price on the used car of your choice. If you have already gotten a price on your own, we will tell you if it is a good price and if not, how to make it better. Do you buy cars in your local market? Yes. We call the dealers closest to you. If the prices we get are not competitive, we will get prices from a dealer in the next closest market, always giving you the choice of where to buy the vehicle. Leases & IncentivesHow do you negotiate leases? To get you the lowest payment possible, we aggressively negotiate the purchase price of the vehicle. Then we compare leasing sources to ensure that you get the most advantageous lease terms. Working with usDo I need an appointment to work with The Negotiators? No! We do most of our work over the phone, to make it more convenient for you. Should I look at cars first, before calling us? It is not necessary. In fact, it might be best to call us first, get unbiased information on the cars you are considering and then go test drive them. In most cases, we can send you to a particular person at the dealership so you won't get hassled about pricing. Can I get information on more than one car? Yes. We will give you information on any number of vehicles. We'll even suggest comparable cars if you'd like.
